The Colleges’ Partnership support Armed Forces Week

At the Colleges’ Partnership, we are proud of our military heritage, and we are keen to mark Armed Forces Week with our full support.

Armed Forces Day, which takes place on the last Saturday of June each year, fell this year on 29 June. It was a chance for the country to show support to the brave men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving personnel to service families, veterans and cadets.

The day also marked the culmination of a week of celebrations, beginning on Monday 24 June, the public showed support and appreciation for the Armed Forces community throughout the whole week, including Reserves Day (26 June) to recognise the Reserve Forces.

The Colleges’ Partnership currently holds the Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award for our Dedication to Veteran and Reservist employment as part of our active support to the Armed Forces community, which underpins our training delivery to over 5,000 serving military apprentices and other on-programme civilian learners.

We stand together in recognising our vital Armed Forces community, who defend the UK and its interests around the world, promoting peace, delivering aid and providing security.

We recognise them during Armed Forces Week, and throughout the entire year.
